ORE Malaysia is proud to have provided architectural glass solutions for Zhou Liu Fu, a well-known jewelry brand in Asia, by completing the glass installation for its flagship storefront at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, a prime shopping destination in Kuala Lumpur.

For this project, we installed a full-height fluted glass feature wall at the main entrance, designed as the visual centerpiece of the store façade. The glass was paired with a custom-designed LED backlighting system, enhancing the overall depth and premium feel of the storefront.

Installation Challenges & Key Learnings

Fluted glass features vertically grooved textures that interact beautifully with lighting, producing a soft, layered glow. Under illumination, the glass surface becomes dynamic and elegant—naturally drawing the eyes of passersby.

This semi-transparent material brings a sense of refined luxury to the space, subtly conveying the brand values of prestige, craftsmanship, and modernity—all critical for a jewelry retail environment.

This project spanned approximately 3 weeks, from design proposal to final installation. Throughout the process, we encountered a technical challenges which is the precision in glass joint alignment.

The full-height feature wall was composed of multiple glass panels. If not perfectly aligned, the grooves could easily appear disjointed or break the visual flow of light. Through multiple on-site dry fits and an optimized installation sequence, we achieved seamless vertical line continuation, preserving a fluid and rhythmic visual experience.

From this project, we further refined our internal processes—from design finalization, glass panel coding, lighting simulation, to on-site alignment—allowing us to handle high-spec projects more efficiently in the future.
